Resume

The objective of this project is to develop new experimental methods and tools to characterize the microscopic structure of polymers using ultrasonic methods.

Understanding the relationship between the microscopic structure and the acoustical properties should lead to a better control of the polymer processes as well as to a better detection of polymer's premature aging.

By mastering the microscopic structure of polymers, the development of new acoustic features is also expected.
